Hello! I'm Hikmatullah, a Software Engineer specialising in NestJS on the backend and Vue.js (Vue 3) on the frontend — the stack I use to ship full-stack products end-to-end. I'm currently pursuing my Software Engineering degree at BUITEMS.

I'm a co-founder of Ziyaan Technologies, where my partner Muhammad Waseem and I build software for clients — most recently Chaman Bazar, a government initiative for the DC Office of Chaman that lets citizens see official commodity prices and report overcharging shopkeepers. Now live on Google Play.

For the past 6 months I've also been working at QuickUp Software House, contributing to real-world products like the QuickUp HRM staffing platform and an AI voice-call agent for the support team — built end-to-end with local Whisper (STT), Llama 3.2 (LLM), and ElevenLabs (TTS).

I've also built end-to-end systems on the side — Humkaam, my Final Year Project, is a 3-app marketplace (NestJS + Vue 3 + MySQL) with real-time chat and booking flows, and SafeCity is an AI video-surveillance platform with YOLOv8 threat detection and ANPR, prepared as a government-project demo for ApexTech Software House.

Beyond development I'm exploring Data Analytics, aiming to become a skilled analyst and problem solver. I love coding, learning new technologies, and turning ideas into real projects.

Chaman Bazar — Official Market Prices for the DC Office of Chaman

A government-backed mobile platform built by my own company, Ziyaan Technologies, for the DC Office of Chaman. It publishes the official prices of daily essentials — milk, yogurt, rice, vegetables — and lets citizens report shopkeepers who sell above the listed price, helping authorities maintain fair market practices.

My role — Hikmatullah Backend development & core system logic — pricing data pipeline, reporting workflow, and platform stability.
Partner — Muhammad Waseem Frontend design & integration — clean, citizen-friendly mobile interface.

QuickUp Call Agent — AI Voice Phone-Support

An end-to-end AI voice-call system I built for the QuickUp support team. A rider calls support, the agent identifies them from the database, understands the problem, calls the restaurant on the rider's behalf with a different voice, gets a decision, and relays it back — all spoken naturally.

SafeCity — AI Video Surveillance System

An end-to-end intelligent video surveillance platform built solo as a demo for ApexTech Software House targeting a government project. It ingests live or recorded camera feeds and automatically detects threats, fights, abandoned bags, loitering, crowd density, and unregistered vehicles in real time — surfacing every event on a live operations dashboard.

A ~13,200-line Java + JavaFX desktop app built solo for a multi-branch catering business. Manages day-to-day operations across three sales channels (GKB Pakwan, Kebabish Marki, Outer Pakwan), plus a per-person Khata credit ledger, expenses, and sales reporting. Distributed as a single 826 KB fat-JAR — runs by double-clicking GKB.command.
